what is trauma?
Trauma is any stressful incident that is a perceived as a threat to your life,
your body, or your emotional well-being. We can further divide trauma
into three categories based on timing:
ACUTE
TRAUMA
Acute trauma occurs as a single event, such as a car accident or mugging.
CHRONIC
TRAUMA
Chronic trauma, occurs repetitively over time. The effects are cumulative and more complex than acute trauma. Chronic trauma could be due to an ongoing stress or multiple incidences.
DEVELOPMENTAL
TRAUMA
Developmental trauma is a significant adverse event that occurs early in childhood from conception to age 2 or 3, or before a child can speak and think rationally. Trauma during such crucial years can actually physically alter the development of the brain.

Our Certified IINNER FITNESS Trainers will safely guide you through the TRE® process, moving through the exercises as well as the tremoring response with a focus on embodiment and self-regulation, supporting the awareness of enhancing your body’s natural healing intelligence. Classes are small to provide detailed attention to all participants.
TRE® is a safe and effective stress release technique for most people. The TRE process should not be used as a substitute for trauma recovery procedures of a medical or psychological nature. Individuals who have physical or psychological/psychiatric conditions that require strict regulation, individuals with fragile psychological defenses, a complex history of trauma or restricting physical or medical limitations should consult their medical practitioner or a Certified TRE Provider prior to performing these exercises.
